Journey to Atlantis®

A family ride that’s part water ride, part coaster, and altogether exciting. Get a panoramic, 360º view at the top of the first peak, followed by a 10-story reverse camelback that sends you on a wet and wild plunge into the lake below.

All Ride Tips:

Shirts and Shoes are required on all coasters
Shoes are required on all rides
Beat the lines, ride the water rides early
Bypass the lines, take advantage of Quick Queue!
Loose articles are not permitted on the coasters, they can be left with a non-rider or in a locker for $1.00

Height Requirement:

Guests must be at least 39 inches tall to ride.
Guests who are between 39 inches tall and 51 inches must be accompanied by a supervising companion 14 years of age or older.

Ride Access:

Guests using wheelchairs who would like to experience the attraction should inform the SeaWorld® Team Member at the ride entrance.
Three additional riders may accompany the guest traveling in the wheelchair.
Guests using wheelchairs will be required to transfer out of the wheelchair and into the boat.
Due the nature of this attraction, assistance animals are not permitted.

"This is my favorite ride at Seaworld and is great for people who don't want the kid rides but don't want super-scary rides! We were using quick queue unlimited and were defiantly glad because the line was an hour and a half long! Sometimes, it was 45 minutes to an hour but you waste a lot of time standing in line. When you climb up the coaster in your "boat", it's high, but it's not steep. Then you go backwards for about a 2 story dip. When you approach the big dip next, a lot of people think you're going down backwards but you don't! When you drop down the 10 story dip you feel like you're going to hit the building and as soon as you're in the building, duck you're head because you get splashed--bad. It's a really short roller coaster but really fun. I wouldn't say it's worth an hour and a half wait, because the steel eel has barely any wait. **MY TIPS** 1. If you want to get wet, sit in the very front row, but the corners of the front row get the most wet. The back also gets you pretty wet, especially the corners. 2. When you get splashed, to the people watching, it looks like a tidal wave and I walked around the park, the whole day soaking wet (even though I went on 12 times) so you should wear a poncho or cut a hole in a trashbag to wear as one. 3. The front row is scary when you look down at the bottom of the dip, but it gets the mildest actual dip. The back is great to fully experience the ride, and after you've ridden this a few times, you should sit in the back! 4. If you want to get wet and aren't riding, stand right against the rail and you'll be WET!" -Stacie Summers
