As you enter Oktoberfest and pass by the fun-filled halls of Das Festhaus®, you see it rising into the sky – the massive spire known as Mäch Tower®. 

Craning your neck to see the top, you notice a group of revelers being lifted and spiraling into the stratosphere. Suddenly, in a rush of wind and screams, they drop. So does your jaw. 

This is Mäch Tower, the highest ride in Busch Gardens®. It’s 240 feet of adrenaline-pulsing thrills with a view of the park and surrounding countryside you have to see to believe. That is, if you can keep your eyes open.

Hold on tight as this new addition to our skyline of park rides drops you into a 60 mph free-fall.

Must be 48" or taller to ride.

We are committed to providing a safe and enjoyable environment to all our guests. We have two programs at Busch Gardens which are in place to assist guests with disabilities. Our Ride Accessibility Program matches the individual abilities of our guests to the requirements of each ride. We also have our Special Access Policy which will assist guests in enjoying attractions throughout the park as some of our queue lines are not accessible to mobility-impaired guests or those who are not able to wait in line. Both are described below.

Ride Accessibility Program (RAP): Is designed to allow guests to participate in the enjoyment of our parks as much as possible. The program was developed based on the requirements of the manufacturer and by analyzing the physical and mental attributes required to safely ride each ride. Each attraction was evaluated for the criteria necessary for an individual to ride safely. It is our policy to allow anyone to ride who meets all these requirements and is not a hazard to himself or others. 

Special Access: Is designed to allow our guests to enjoy our attractions without waiting in queue lines due to certain disabilities. Guests will be placed in a Virtual Queue which equals the estimated wait time at that respective location. Guests have the ability to enjoy other attractions throughout the park during this time.
