New for 2012
Each year, Busch Gardens pushes the entertainment envelope to develop new and exciting thrills, award-winning shows and delicious culinary delights. This year is no exception as Busch Gardens offers guests a great line-up of new experiences and exciting events for 2012.
In 2012, Busch Gardens will deliver a world-class coaster experience like nothing before. Set in the re-envisioned Oktoberfest section of the park, this sleek launch coaster design utilizes electromagnetic technology to propel riders through a high-speed thrill packed with twists, turns and plunges. It’s called Verbolten, and this new coaster will feature many “firsts” when it debuts in the spring.
Oktoberfest features new shows, a pretzel bakery and Mach Tower, a 240-foot rotating drop tower that offers the best view of the park before dropping at breathtaking speed back down to earth.
Busch Gardens has also packed the entire year full of excitement with a spectacular line up of special events and the return of IllumiNights: A Busch Gardens Encore, Howl-O-Scream and Christmas Town: A Busch Gardens Celebration, the holiday spectacular that transforms the European-themed park into a winter wonderland.
