Expedition Conservation: Grades 11-College
Experience conservation in action through real-life, hands-on work in the field.
Observe endangered species and discover how conservation education impacts visitors at one of the nation’s largest zoos. Engage in up-close animal encounters and speak to zoo professionals. Plus, enjoy all that Busch Gardens® and SeaWorld® have to offer.
Here are just some of the experiences you can expect:
- Visit actual conservation sites across Florida to enhance your knowledge about wildlife at risk and identify ways to make a difference
- Venture across the Serengeti Plain® for an eye-to-eye view of giraffes and zebra
- Enjoy all the world class rides, shows, and animal exhibits Busch Gardens and SeaWorld offer
- Prerequisites for this camp are Zookeeping 101, Career Camp 10-12 at SeaWorld Orlando or related experience working with animals
Expedition Conservation is a 5-night long camp which begins at 12:00 p.m. Saturday morning and ends promptly Thursday morning at 9:00 a.m.
Busch Gardens'® Camps are fully chaperoned resident camps that include the following amenities:
- Transportation between Busch Gardens and Tampa International Airport (TPA)
- All meals and snacks
- Two Camp T-shirts and a water bottle
- Housing at our dormitory, Mzinga Lodge
