Aspiring to become a professional in veterinary healthcare?  Join our staff and experience veterinary medicine firsthand. Shadow staff on rounds, participate in labs and professional development classes, and even observe procedures. Campers work behind the scenes to explore what being on a veterinarian team at a world-class zoo is all about. After hours, enjoy all that Busch Gardens® and SeaWorld® have to offer.

Prerequisites for this camp are Zoo Careers and a high school diploma, or dual enrollment as a 12th grade student in a college program (documentation required) or technical school.

Here are just some of the experiences you can expect:

• Spend a morning shadowing a veterinarian; attend morning rounds and help with procedures.
• Work alongside professional zookeepers to better understand their role in veterinary care.
• Gain firsthand knowledge about real day-to-day care of exotic animals from zoo professionals.
• Tour the Serengeti Plain on a flat bed truck to hand-feed giraffes
• Enjoy all the world class rides, shows, and animal exhibits Busch Gardens and SeaWorld offer
