For a more in-depth zoological experience spend two weeks at Busch Gardens®. You'll participate in Zookeeping 201 and Zoo Careers and explore the Tampa Bay area for 2 days in between.

Zookeeping 201    

Take zookeeping to the next level. Experience real-life, hands-on animal care at one of the nation’s largest zoos. Work alongside expert zookeepers, observe animal training methods and engage in up-close animal encounters

Zoo Careers     

This is an intense exploration of working with animals including everything from scrubbing and raking, to preparing animal diets and so much more. Gain insight into managing a world-class zoological facility with opportunities to interact with zoo staff and receive valuable career guidance. Participants work behind the scenes daily under the guidance of professional zookeepers, attend training workshops and even prepare a special project. This is your chance to 'sample' a zoo career!
