Enjoy 2 weeks at Busch Gardens®. You'll participate in Zookeeping 101 and Zookeeping 201, and explore the Tampa Bay area for 2 days in between. Call 1-877-248-2267 to make a reservation for an extended camp.
Zookeeping 101
Assist zookeepers with their daily routine ithat includes preparing diets, animal training and providing veterinary care. Experience first–hand what it takes to care for a variety of exotic animals from giraffes to hippos to lemurs. Plus, enjoy all the thrilling rides and world-class shows at Busch Gardens and cool off at Adventure Island®.
Zookeeping 201
Take zookeeping to the next level. Experience real-life, hands-on animal care at one of the nation’s largest zoos. Work alongside expert zookeepers, observe animal training methods and engage in up-close animal encounters.
Zookeeping The Series is a 12-night long camp which begins at 12:00 p.m. Saturday morning Week 1 and ends promptly Thursday morning at 9:00 a.m. Week 2.
Busch Gardens'® Camps are fully chaperoned resident camps that include the following amenities:
- Transportation between Busch Gardens and Tampa International Airport (TPA)
- All meals and snacks
- Four Camp T-shirts and a water bottle
- Housing at our dormitory, Mzinga Lodge
