WILLIAMSBURG (Oct. 1, 2013) – In support of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Busch Gardens® is offering limited-edition pink ribbon merchandise, desserts and annual pass card designs with 100 percent of the proceeds from the sale of these items donated to ongoing breast cancer research.
Pins, shirts, hats and jackets are among the pink ribbon options available for purchase at Das Festhaus® and Tweedside Gifts™. Guests can satisfy their sweet tooth with a pink ribbon cupcake in select park restaurants, and Busch Gardens pass members can show their support for breast cancer research by upgrading to a hard-stock pink ribbon card design for just $10.
The pink ribbon merchandise will be available through the end of Howl-O-Scream®, Oct. 27.
Busch Gardens’ social media channels are also going pink. Oct. 1 through Oct. 5, Busch Gardens’ fans are invited to visit the park’s social media channels on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Throughout the week select iconic Busch Gardens imagery will be awash in various hues of pink. On Oct. 6, Busch Gardens’ guests have the opportunity to adopt a pink attitude. Guests who wear pink in the park may be selected to be featured on the park’s website and social media channels.
Join the Busch Gardens team Oct. 12 at the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk taking place at the Mariner’s Museum. For more information about the walk, visit www.makingstrideswalk.org/peninsulava.
