These 1-hour courses are taught by a SeaWorld Instructor and focus on a specific theme for the assigned grade level. Courses have limited availability and are only offered on specific days during the week.
Grades K-2: Sharks
Learn about sharks and the role that predators play in the environment. Students will learn to separate fact from fiction during this unique look at one of nature’s most perfect predators.
Grades K-2: Whales
Introduce your students to the fantastic world of whales. Learn about killer whales, dolphins, beluga whales and more through a variety of interactions and hands-on activities.
Grades 3-5: Animals and Habitats of Florida’s Coastline
Explore the world of dolphins, manatees and endangered sea turtles while gaining an appreciation for the native animals and habitats of the Florida Coastline.
Grades 3-5: Animals and Habitats of the Polar Regions
Exploring the unique ecosystems found at the north and south poles. Delve into the adaptations of polar bears, beluga whales and penguins and learn how they survive in some of the harshest environments on the planet.
Grades 6-8: Rescue and Rehabilitation
Manatees and sea turtles are highlighted on this unique behind-the-scenes look designed to share SeaWorld’s efforts to help preserve and protect endangered and threatened species through its rescue, rehabilitation and release program.
Grades 6-8: Animal Training
Through interactive activities, students will experience animal training and enrichment techniques used at SeaWorld and learn what it takes to train marine mammals.
Grades 9-12: Rescue and Rehabilitation
Learn about our efforts to help preserve and protect endangered and threatened species through our rescue, rehabilitation and release program and what you can do to help.
Grades 9-12: Zoological Careers
Find out firsthand what it takes to work with our incredible animals and how much care, commitment and hard work goes into maintaining good health and active enrichment exercises for our amazing animals.
Additional Educational offerings:
Grades 6-12: Saving Our Seas (5 hour course)
Students will investigate the problems facing dolphins, manatees and other animals. This program includes visits to a variety of animal shows and exhibits as well as a behind-the-scenes look at SeaWorld’s efforts to preserve and protect many of the species with which we share our planet.
Grades PreK–2 or 3-5: Celebrating Conservation School Outreach
Students will explore and learn about animals, conservation efforts and stories relating to SeaWorld. Through the use of audience participation and interactive sessions, students are kept involved and excited to learn more. Artifacts, dress-ups and life-sized inflatable creatures bring the amazing animals of SeaWorld into classrooms and auditoriums. Program lasts about 50-minute and is available for two different grade levels - Pre-Kindergarten Through Second (PreK–2) or Third Through Fifth (3–5). Presentation accommodates up to 350 students and teachers.
