About the Exhibit

Enter a charming and chilly world where you’ll encounter more than 100 penguins of various types, including the regal king penguin. Enjoy the show as our penguins and a few of their flying friends swoop and swim among the rocky cliffs and icy waters of this wonderfully realistic habitat.

Ever wonder why the penguin encounter is so dark during the summer? Penguins are on a Southern Hemisphere season cycle, and their winter months are June through August.
