About the Attraction

In Spring 2011, SeaWorld San Antonio opened Sesame Street Bay of Play, an all new attraction for families featuring Elmo, Big Bird and all their friends. Sesame Street Bay of Play includes 3 acres of exciting rides, shows and play areas.

Rides

Abby Cadabby’s Rocking Wave

A rocking ride that creates a wave effect by rocking forwards, backwards and sideways.

Elmo’s Dolphin Dive

A kid-friendly vertical drop that soars up and down like dolphins do in the water.

Grover's Round-Up

A colorful carousel ride with Sesame Street friends.

Big Bird’s Spinning Reef

A delightfully playful Ferris Wheel family ride.

Activities

Little Bird's Splash

Beat the heat with 22 water elements such as bubblers, geysers, jets, dumping buckets and more.

Tot's Ahoy

A dry play area designed specifically for toddlers up to age 3.

Net Climb

Climb, crawl and explore in the 3-story net climb and fun-filled sandbox.

Meet the Characters

“Big Bird’s 1-2-3 Smile with Me”

At "Big Bird's 1-2-3 Smile with Me," everyone’s favorite Sesame Street friends will greet, hug, take photos and make memories that will last a lifetime. Character photos will be available several times throughout the day.

Character Stage

The Character stage area will feature musical performances that bring tales of adventure to life by Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Zoe, Grover and Cookie Monster. Presented several times daily, followed by a character meet-and-greet. See daily park map for specific times.

Sesame Dining Experiences

Dine with everyone’s favorite Sesame characters! Enjoy a delicious breakfast with Elmo and his friends at these reserved-seating events. Learn More > 

Cabanas

Make your day at Sesame Street Bay of Play easy and convenient with a cabana. This private area provides you and up to 3 guests a complimentary locker, SeaWorld towels, and mini-refrigerator with 8 bottled waters. You'll even get time to meet & greet a Sesame Street character. Have your very own spot at this family-friendly attraction – complete with ceiling fan!

4-D Movie

Sesame Street presents Lights, Camera, Imagination! in 4-D

SeaWorld now has another new way to play and this time it’s a multi-sensory experience you have to feel to believe. It’s Sesame Street presents Lights, Camera, Imagination!, a 4-D movie experience featuring Elmo, Big Bird, Bert and Ernie and all your child’s Sesame Street friends.
