Welcoming Band and Dance Performance Groups!
Your group will have the opportunity to entertain thousands of guests during an experience they won't soon forget. SeaWorld San Diego offers some of the most unique performance venues in the world and the perfect venue will be selected to showcase your group's talent.
A dedicated coordinator will organize your group's performance, making it easy and fun. In order to meet all of your needs, group packages are available which include private picnics, sleepovers and much more. SoundWaves at SeaWorld would like to invite your band, choir, dance group or orchestra to join our prestigious team of SoundWaves graduates.
If your group would like to be considered for a SoundWaves performance at SeaWorld, please complete and return the SoundWaves application form and include your group's audition video and photo so that we may begin planning your group's performance of a lifetime. Do you have a sound system for my group?
SeaWorld does provide a sound system for all performances which include handheld and/or choral microphones, speakers, and the ability to amplify electronic instruments. We will also staff an audio specialist for each performance.
Is there a minimum age requirement for student performers for SoundWaves?
SoundWaves is open to students of all ages. Each application will be reviewed individually with the specific skill level and age group of the performance group in mind.
How do I purchase tickets?
Upon your application’s approval you will receive a Ticket Order form which must be completed and sent back to SeaWorld San Diego’s Group Sales department. Once that order form is received your performance date will be officially on the schedule.
What is the cost to perform in SoundWaves at SeaWorld?
Each performer and chaperone must purchase a ticket to SeaWorld San Diego. All pricing questions can be directed to (800)257-4268.
What is the minimum number of students needed to perform?
SoundWaves at SeaWorld requires a minimum of 15 students per performance group.
Can I use my Fun Card, Silver, or Platinum Pass to attend SoundWaves at SeaWorld?
All performers and chaperones are required to purchase a ticket using the ticket order form presented to the group director upon application approval. Annual Passes are not valid for admission for a SoundWaves performance.
Are dance groups permitted to perform in SoundWaves at SeaWorld?
SeaWorld does approve applications for dance and cheer groups. Aerial work, including but not limited to tosses and lifts, are not permitted. Dance groups must keep in mind that our performances will take place on grass or concrete so safety is of utmost important.
Do you have a discount for Food and Beverages in the park?
SeaWorld San Diego does offer an All-Day Dining Deal. This one day All-Day Dining Deal is where you and your family can enjoy all of your favorite foods from your favorite restaurants. All-Day Dining can be purchased from our Group Sales department in advance of your trip or at Guest Relations in the park once you arrive.
Is there a way to get a front of the line pass for attractions?
SeaWorld offers Quick Queue which allows you unlimited single day access to the express entrance at Journey to Atlantis®, Wild Arctic®, Shipwreck Rapids®, Bayside Sky Ride, and Manta®. And now available in limited quantities, Quick Queue Premier. All the benefits of Quick Queue with the addition of reserved seating at most SeaWorld shows, including One Ocean®, Blue Horizons®, Shamu Celebration: Light up the Night®!, Pets Rule!®, Sea Lions LIVE!, and Sea Lions Tonight. Quick Queue an Quick Queue Premier can be purchased at Guest Services at SeaWorld San Diego.
Who needs to fill out the Release of Liability Waivers?
All performers and chaperones entering a backstage area are required to fill out and sign a Release of Liability Waiver. The waiver must be present at the time of your group's arrival at the park.
