Manta Ride Restrictions

Height Requirement: 48" (122 cm) or taller.

Riders of Size: Due to Manta’s unique harness, riders of size may not be able to ride Manta. For your convenience, a test seat is available at the ride entrance. A green light will display on the harness if you are safely able to ride Manta.

Loose Articles: Loose articles are not permitted on Manta. If loose items cannot be secured in a sealed pocket, please leave them in your vehicle, with a non-rider or in a locker. Items such as backpacks, purses and cameras will not be permitted in line. SeaWorld is not responsible for lost or damaged items.

Filming while riding: Video and picture taking while on the ride is strictly prohibited and is cause for dismissal from the park without a refund. Please ensure all electronic devices are secured in a sealed pocket or left with a non-rider.

Additional Restrictions: Riders of this attraction will be exposed to forces, speeds and other intense features that may cause distress or injury to persons with pre-existing health conditions. Please consider these features in determining suitability for all riders. Only guest in good health should ride this attraction. For your safety do not ride if you are pregnant, have high blood pressure, motion sickness, heart, neck or back problems, fear of heights, sensitivity to strobe effects, recent surgery or any other medical condition that might be aggravated by the forces of this ride.

Each rider must be able to remain sitting up straight, keeping their head upright, their back and shoulders against the seatback, and their hands, arms, legs and feet down and inside the ride at all times. Please review all restrictions listed on the sign at the attraction entrance.

Guests must have the ability to hold on with one functioning hand and two functioning legs. Guests with an amputation(s) above the ankle may not ride. Guests with an amputation below the ankle may ride, provided the guest has two functioning hands.

Prosthetic legs are not permitted on Manta. Guests with an arm or hand prosthesis must ensure it is properly secured, and will remain in place in spite of forces experienced during the ride. Guests with a broken collar bone, neck brace, full arm cast, braced arm cast or full leg cast may not ride.

Ride Access: Manta is designed to accommodate all guests through the ride entrance. All guests, including those with disabilities or use a wheelchair, must be able to transfer into and out of the ride unit by themselves or with the assistance of a member in their party.
