All-new wooden roller coaster, InvadR™, opens April 2017

First Wooden Roller Coaster Invades This April

The Vikings are taking over New France this spring as Busch Gardens Williamsburg adds InvadR™ to its collection of world-class coasters. This family thrill ride will be the park’s first wooden coaster. Fly over InvadR’s nine air-time hills, including a 74-foot plunge that reaches speeds of almost 50 miles per hour. Grab your family and run for the hills aboard InvadR.

All-new summer event: Summer Nights

New Event: Summer Nights

In July and August, Busch Gardens becomes a cooler place after dark during Summer Nights, presented by Coca-Cola®. Special entertainment, culinary experiences and a fun nighttime atmosphere will give guests a new reason to visit during summer evenings.

Summer Saturdays will be even more special with Summer Nights Concerts, featuring popular rock, pop, country and contemporary Christian performers live under the stars in the Royal Palace Theatre. Confirmed acts include 38 Special, Josh Turner, MercyMe, Jeremy Camp and Rend Collective, with additional names to be announced. Concerts are free with park admission.

All-new shows

New Shows

Two special shows also join the Summer Nights line-up. Britmania™, a new musical revue featuring British hits from the 1960s to today, debuts June 30, and will be performed throughout the day in the Globe Theatre. Busch Gardens also will debut a new show in Das Festhaus® on March 31. The yet-to-be-named show will feature traditional German music and dances, with a modern twist, offering diners a fun Oktoberfest experience every day.

Elmo Rocks!
Children and their families will love dancing and singing along with this high energy rock 'n roll show at the Globe Theatre.

KIDsiderate® Concerts return with kid-friendly musical artists like Choo Choo Soul with Genevieve and more.

All For One™
The Musketeers return to the Royal Palace Theatre this summer in this adaptation of the classic French tale.

Events

Food & Wine Festival
Summer kicks off with the Busch Gardens Food & Wine Festival, weekends from May 26 - July 2. Tantalizing new food and beverage options abound throughout the festival, including the addition of India as a new kiosk.

Bier Fest
Raise a glass to toast the end of summer with a variety of craft beers from around the globe on select dates September 1 - 17.

Howl-O-Scream
The park becomes a seriously scary place in the evenings on select dates September 23 - October 29. New this year, the park will stay open until midnight and expand to select Thursdays.

Christmas Town
Over 8 million lights, dazzling shows and delicious dining will bring you and your family Christmas cheer select dates November 24, 2017 - January 1, 2018.
