A KIDsiderate Christmas

If you're coming to visit the park this holiday season with young children, bring a smile to their faces with our kid-friendly attractions and sights. The magic of Christmas Town ™ really comes to life through their eyes. Making new friends, riding kid-friendly rides, trying holiday treats, sharing hugs with family and creating memories they will never forget. Take a look at our guide on how to have a KIDsiderate ® Christmas this winter.

1

Book a character dining experience in advance to guarantee time with Santa or Rudolph & Friends. Select an earlier time of day to allow more time to enjoy the lights when the sun goes down.

2

Arrive early, Busch Gardens Christmas Town opens at 2 p.m. Head directly to Santa’s Workshop at the North Pole (Oktoberfest village). Tip: Don’t follow the herd. Turn left at the crossroads in Scotland for a slightly quicker walk to the North Pole.

3

After visiting Santa, head over to the North Pole’s Cookies & Cocoa for some sweet treats. Take it from us, the homemade cookies are amazing.

4

Keep everyone warm on those chilly nights with refillable hot chocolate mugs. The sturdy plastic mug with a closable lid is kid-proof and will pay for itself in no time with unlimited $1.79 refills.

5

Hot chocolate in hand, take a break at O’ Tannenbaum, our 50-foot Christmas Tree that dances with light every 30 minutes. While waiting for the show, the kids will love the model train setup inside Der Marktplatz.

6

Attend one of Christmas Town’s live performances, like Gloria!, ‘Twas That Night  or Gift of Harmony™ (new for 2017), to remind yourself and your kids about the real meaning of Christmas.

7

There is nothing as special as a homemade gift. Visit the Caribou Pottery store and let your kid’s imaginations run wild decorating bowls, plates and mugs.

8

Hungry? Grab some dinner at Dasher’s Diner , an all-you-can-to-eat buffet in Holiday Hills, featuring kid-friendly meals like mac & cheese, pizza and chicken nuggets.

9

Take advantage of the games and kid-friendly rides in Holiday Hills ™ and make sure to check out The Stocking Stop .

10

Meet and mingle with everyone’s favorite furry friends at Sesame Street ® Forest of Fun . Check out kid-friendly rides, surrounded by colorful lights; then, try one of Cookie’s favorite creations at Skillet Cookie Depot.
