The Best of Christmas Town

Experience the best of Christmas Town™

With world-class shows, hearty holiday dining, festive shopping and over eight million lights, saying there’s a lot to see and do at Busch Gardens ® Christmas Town ™ is a bit of an understatement. Naturally, we recommend coming back multiple nights so that you can see it all, but if you only have one evening to spend at Christmas Town, here is our must-see list.

1

Snap a #selfie with Santa and avoid long lines by making Santa’s Workshop at the North Pole your first stop of the afternoon.

2

Catch the show Deck the Halls earlier in your evening, before the crowds build up in Das Festhaus ® during dinner.

3

Head over to Holiday Hills ™ to take a spin on a few of our rides like Peppermint Twist ™ and Snowman Summit ™ before stepping back in time with the classic story of Rudolph through a series of photo opportunities in Rudolph’s Winter Wonderland. Snap a picture with Yukon Cornelius and Bumble, or maybe catch sight of the red-nosed reindeer himself.

4

Then, pop in to Cocoa Café ™ in Holiday Hills and try our signature peppermint fudge hot chocolate. Tip: The hot beverage mug has discounted refills all night.

5

Be awe-inspired while surrounded by lights at the tree of lights intersection of Holiday Hills and Italy, then round the corner to catch over one million lights in one place at Polar Pathway around sunset (sometime between 5 and 6 p.m.) for a magical photo.

6

Enjoy the vividly entertaining Scrooge No More!™, then visit the Clydesdale horses at Highland Stables and snap a Christmas-card-worthy family photo in front of a carriage.

7

Stroll through Ireland and stop to remember the true meaning of Christmas at our soulful show, Gloria! Tip: You can find show times in the park on the map or on the Busch Gardens Discovery Guide app.

8

By this point, you’re probably feeling a little hungry. Dine on a country Christmas dinner from Trappers’ Smokehouse before enjoying our ice show, ‘Twas that Night and keep warm with another cup of hot chocolate.

9

Keep heading toward Oktoberfest and the 50-foot Christmas tree, O’ Tannenbaum, which is a popular stopping spot. Tip: The lights of O’ Tannenbaum dance to music every half hour.

10

See all eight million lights at the top of Nacht Tower. Though it doesn’t drop quickly during Christmas Town, Nacht Tower will still take your breath away with this utterly unique view of the Christmas light displays throughout the park.

11

Plan to make a stop on the bridge between Oktoberfest and Italy. See the beautiful message “Peace on Earth” on the train trestle and the lights of trees lining the river banks reflecting gently onto the water and enjoy a moment of quiet tranquility.

12

Finally, enjoy the symmetry of the Italy Gardens’ lights before making your way past Polar Pathway at night and heading back to your car.
