Edventure: Grade 3 - Adult

About the Program

Put the rich biodiversity of marine ecology into focus for your group by discovering the unique traits of differing ocean environments. Visit with coastal region animals like sea lions, harbor seals and bottlenose dolphins. Explore the mysterious world of the coral reef and learn about the fascinating and often misunderstood shark. Learn how penguins survive harsh polar weather. This program is designed to for students in 3rd Grade through Adult.

Sample Itinerary

This program is 3 hours in length. During this visit, you class may experience:

  • Visit California sea lions, harbor seals and bottlenose dolphins from coastal regions
  • Explore the many relationships in the coral reef
  • Learn about sharks, the sea's most mysterious creatures
  • Understand how penguins survive in their harsh polar homes


  • $18 per participant*
  • Must have a minimum of 10 participants
