Celebrate Labor Day Weekend at SeaWorld and Aquatica, SeaWorld's Waterpark™
Enjoy fireworks, the last weekend of Aquatica and bid farewell to the sea lion show

SAN ANTONIO (Aug. 29, 2014) – Celebrate the end of summer with a bang at SeaWorld’s Labor Day Spectacular on Sunday, August 31. A stunning mix of pyrotechnics will fill the air starting at 9:45 p.m., and guests are urged to arrive early for live music and appearances by some of SeaWorld’s favorite costumed characters. Fireworks are included with park admission.

Aquatica, SeaWorld’s Waterpark™, will end its 2014 season on Monday, September 1. Aquatica is the only waterpark in San Antonio to offer the luxury and amenities of an island resort, including terraced pools, expansive sandy beaches, thrilling rides and private cabanas, all in a tropical setting. Guests should also visit Aquatica’s newest attraction, Roa’s Aviary. Nestled on Loggerhead Beach, this 13,500 square-foot aviary is home to hundreds of tropical birds.

The park’s current sea lion show, “The Cannery Row Caper” – the longest-running show in SeaWorld San Antonio’s history – will end its nine-year run on Monday, Sept. 1. This popular production stars sea lions Clyde and Seamore in their hilarious attempt to solve the mystery of fish disappearing from a cannery.

In spring 2015, SeaWorld San Antonio will complete major renovations to its California sea lion attraction. The area surrounding the sea lion facilities will be reimagined as Pacific Point Preserve – an immersive experience that has the look and feel of a Pacific coast town where guests will make powerful connections with sea lions and other coastal wildlife. This new realm will not only include a brand-new show, but will also feature a significant transformation to the park’s sea lion exhibit and a new restaurant to give guests the options to choose among up to four different styles of cuisine.
