Stingray Lagoon®

Despite their name, stingrays are one of the most docile species to inhabit the oceans. Here more than 200 rays—some with wingspans up to 5 feet—spend warm days gliding through their habitat's peaceful waters. Reach your hand just below the surface, and you’re likely to feel a velvety “high five” as they swim by.

In a nearby nursery, try to spot the newborn stingray pups hiding under the sand. SeaWorld’s animal experts are always on hand to tell you anything you want to know about these graceful, mysterious creatures.

Park Location: Key West, next to Dolphin Cove

If you really want to grab the stingrays' attention, purchase their food from the nearby stand and see how quickly they swim to you when you dip your hand in the water to feed them.
